Service User and Carer Forum

The Service User and Carer Forum links service users and carers with Plymouth Community Healthcare staff; working together to be safe, well and at home.

 

The purpose of the Plymouth Community Healthcare Service User and Carer Engagement Forum is to enable users and carers to influence the future direction of the organisation and debate current issues that affect the business it is engaged in.

The Forum will ensure that through its membership, the views of users and carers are used to help shape the business and strategy of Plymouth Community Healthcare and the services it provides thereby giving those users and carers a voice.

It will make recommendations aimed at improving quality and levels of service to the community we serve and, as a Community Interest Company, look to re-investing any surplus into the community.

 

Membership:

The Forum membership consists of service users, carers, local organisations (such as LiNKS, MIND) and Plymouth Community Healthcare staff from a wide range of areas - representing all localities, children and families services, governance and patient liaisions. On occasions where necessary, non-forum members are invited to the group to contribute to discussions on a specific subject.

 

Meetings:

Meetings are held every quarter, with provision for additional meetings if required. The Forum reports to PCH's Board and the Locality Steering Group.

Users of our services and carers can share their experiences/comments and suggestions with us via this forum by emailing us via our contact details on this page. Please let us know how you would like us to contact you in return to address your comments or concerns in more details, by providing your preferred method of communication. If you would like your issued to be raised at a forum meeting, please let us know.
