Return to nursing opportunity

3rd February 2017

Do you wish to return to nursing? Are you thinking of returning to clinical practice? Do you still have the skills and enthusiasm to renew your career?

If so, you may wish to consider the following:

Livewell Southwest is currently recruiting to permanent clinical posts by offering a fully funded Return to Practice course, delivered by the University of Plymouth in conjunction with clinical placements delivered within Livewell Southwest.

If successful, you will be offered a placement within one of our clinical areas, where you will be supported and supervised by a sign-off mentor in order to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council requirements for re-registration. NB: (You must be a de-registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council register to apply for this post).

Livewell Southwest will cover the course fee and employ you as a band 3 Nursing Assistant £16,800 (Point 6) per annum, pro-rata for the duration of your course. We are also offering a financial incentive of £1,000 for a Nurse whilst undertaking the course. On the successful completion of the course you will be given a priority interview for a registered nursing post within the organisation.

The opportunities offered within Livewell Southwest will be within mental health, adults, CAMHS and similar. You will need to apply through the NHS job website at www.jobs.nhs.uk (Job ref  832-2017-NM-2103). When completing the application form please include your past experience and your current preference.

We welcome applications from people with experience working with adults in mental health services, and experience of working with young people and/or families.

The next course will be starting in May 2017, and the course duration is up to three months. During this time you will be expected to work the number of hours below to achieve your registration.
