Administrative Assistant Apprenticeship

Kingfisher ward is a 30 bedded general rehabilitation unit, situated in Mount Gould Local Care Centre.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic administration apprentice to work 30 hours a week over 4 days, on a 12 month fixed term contract. The successful applicant will need to have effective interpersonal skills, good time management and basic computer abilities. Systems training and support will be given.

The successful applicant will be dealing with members of the public, patients and healthcare professionals on a daily basis, in person and on the telephone. The applicant will be supplied with a uniform as per Livewell Southwest's uniform policy.

Your apprenticeship at City College Plymouth will enable you to work towards and complete a QCF (NVQ) II in Administration. You will be required to undertake and pass online assessments for Maths, English & ICT prior to starting your apprenticeship.

Please be aware that some qualifications you currently hold may render you ineligible to apply for this post, as funding is dependent on previous qualifications and availability. If you already hold any degree or an NVQ level II or III/Vocational Level II/III in the same, (or closely related), subject to the post you have applied for, you may not be eligible for a Vocational Qualification apprenticeship post.Closing date for applications:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the HR Team for two Recruitment Administrative Apprentices.

You will assist in providing a professional, quality and customer-focused recruitment service for Livewell Southwest. We are passionate about the work we do to support our managers in engaging the best employees in the most efficient way and we are looking for someone who is willing to go the "extra mile" to help us achieve this.

We are looking for people who are keen to learn and already possess good computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Excel and Word. You should also have good communication skills, both verbal and written. You should enjoy helping people and be able to complete tasks with good attention to detail.

As an apprentice you will be fully trained in the full range of recruitment processes and procedures. You will receive full support from the Recruitment Team and from our external learning provider, City College Plymouth. Your apprenticehip at City College will enable you to work towards and complete a Vocational Level II in Business Administration.
