The information we record about you is used to: 

  • Ensure that health care professionals have access to accurate information so that you receive the best care and treatment possible
  • Help us plan our services around the needs of our patients


Everyone working in the NHS, or who provide NHS services is legally bound to maintain the highest level of confidentiality about patient information. Where we work with other organisations in providing your care, they are required to meet the same high standards of confidentiality as ourselves.
