This course, provided by Plymouth Options, looks at why we might develop and maintain depression and how we can manage negative thoughts

This course focuses on managing symptoms of low mood, depression, low motivation and low energy, as well as negative or self-critical thoughts.

The course offers techniques on managing physical symptoms with breathing/relaxation techniques, challenging negative thoughts, managing worries, identifying unhelpful behaviours and avoidance, communication styles, as well as providing tips for improved sleep and diet.
