Memory Service

The Memory Group is a 5 week course, run by the Memory Service at Mount Gould Hospital. You will be able to learn about how memory works, in a group of people who also experience memory difficulties. We will explore different aspects of memory, what factors affect our memory and learn strategies that could help us to cope, all in an informal setting.

The Memory Group offers you a change to share your experiences with other people within a safe, friendly, confidential and supportive environment. We value your experiences and would like to hear about the strategies that you are already using. We aim to help you feel more confident about your memory concerns.

The Memory Club takes place at the Local Care Centre in the Mount Gould Hospital, on a Wednesday.

If you wish to come along to the Memory Club, please contact The Memory Service: Tel: 01752 435363

You are welcome to bring along a relative, carer or friend and you must be able to commit to at least 4 out of 5 sessions. The sessions are classified as hospital appointments.

The Red Cross can offer support with attending such appointments: Tel: 01752 603771. Please contact them for further details about transport.
