Current waiting times
We understand it can be difficult waiting for support from Children’s Mental Health Services. We are committed to seeing children and young people as soon as we can in line with the Government Standard of 18 weeks. We strive to keep our waiting times as low as possible, however these can depend on the current demand for services.
We are keen to provide open and clear information about wait times for the services you are waiting to access. The following detail explains the likely time you will wait, average waiting times, as well as number of people waiting. This is from a referral to initial assessment for non-urgent care. If urgent care is required the time frames may be shorter according to individual needs.
You may be contacted to request further information, assess the risk, or be signposted to an alternative, more suitable provision.
