Livewell Southwest has successfully secured funding to establish a Mental Health Support Team. This is a pilot scheme with identified schools in Plymouth taking part.
The team will be offering a range of support to schools in Plymouth for children who are experiencing low to moderate feelings of anxiety, phobia, low mood between the ages of 5 years and 17 years old. The MHST team aim to support schools in embedding a Whole School Approach to positive emotional health and wellbeing.
The service aims to be an early intervention step for children in Plymouth. If you are considering referring a child or young person, please read our referral threshold as a first step.

Our team has a ‘padlet’ offering information on all of the interventions, groups and workshops we run. You can also refer young people for intervention with our team here, as well as finding a range of useful websites, articles and signposting to other services that support the wellbeing of young people and their families.
