Community Therapy Team (CTT)

Who we are

We are a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioners and Therapy Support Workers who support adults (18 and over) stay safe, well, and independent at home. We provide therapy where it’s needed most — whether in your home, care setting, or clinic.

 

What we do

We work with you to help with things like moving around, doing everyday tasks, and feeling more confident in your home and in the community.

We listen to what matters to you and help you set goals that fit your life. Whether you’re getting better after being ill or learning new ways to manage a health problem, we’ll support you to reach your goals, to help you stay independent, avoid hospital admissions and live life your way.

 

Areas we cover

We provide services across Plymouth for people registered with a Plymouth GP.

Our teams are split into neighbourhoods:

North – PL5, PL6
South – PL3, PL4
East – PL7, PL9
West – PL1, PL2

 

Service opening hours

The service is open Monday to Friday and operates between the core hours of 08:30-16:30.

The service is closed over the weekend and bank holidays.

Phone lines are manned Monday to Friday 09:00-16:30 but messages can be left on the answerphone outside of these hours.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists (OTs) help adults live safely and independently at home. They look at how health problems affect everyday life and find ways to make things easier.

Before asking for help from our therapy team, we encourage you to try some things on your own first, if you can. This can help you feel more confident and stay as independent as possible.
