CAMHS Early Help Pathway

CAMHS Early Help Pathway supports children, young people and their families from 5-18 years old who are registered with a Plymouth GP and where there are concerns regarding emotional wellbeing & mental ill health.

CAMHS Early Help Pathway is a team made up of a variety of professionals who have experience working with children, young people and families. This includes mental health nurses, children’s nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, children and young people’s wellbeing practitioners and community support workers.

CAMHS Early Help Pathway is the single point of access for all referrals into CAMHS from professionals and parents and we can offer consultation, assessment, targeted low level intervention for up to 8 sessions (group, 1-1 or access for on-line intervention for anxiety & low mood) and deliver training.

We provide an advice and support line, Monday-Friday 9-4pm, for anyone registered with a Plymouth GP and you don’t need to be open to CAMHS to call the advice line. We offer advice, support, signposting, resources and can support with completing a parent self-referral.
