Wellbeing at Work

Livewell Southwest are fully committed to the health and wellbeing of its employees. As a health & social care provider, health and wellbeing applies as much to our employees as it does to the local population and we want to do as much as we can to enable our employees to be at their best, be energised, motivated and committed to their work.

Our employees deal daily with health and wellbeing so it is important we take proactive steps to ensure their wellbeing is fully supported. This will enable our employees to flourish and reach their full potential both in and out of the workplace and will assist to support Livewell Southwest in achieving its overall business strategy.

The current pressures on public finances from the economic downturn make it vital that we use all our resources as effectively as possible, this is no different locally. We cannot afford not to invest in the health and wellbeing of our staff.

Employee Leadership

Livewell Southwest’s staff engagement council, Our Voice, ensures the voices of our dedicated, expert staff are heard. By sharing their views and debating issues affecting our work, feedback gathered via Our Voice can influence our strategy, services and how we reinvest in the local communities we serve.

Our Voice is integral to maintaining the high-quality service we provide to local communities and Livewell Southwest hugely values the contributions made by our teams.

Our staff represent the communities that they live in and it is important that they can influence the organisation.
