Weight Management programme patients

Update for current weight management patients

As you are already aware the Weight Management service has been temporarily suspended since the end of March due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

There are over 500 patients who are registered with us. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide face to face appointments and are looking at ways in how we can effectively re-establish the service and make contact with you.

The first phase of reopening the service will be to provide review telephone appointments for all our patients. We are planning to organise these over the next few months. We are aware that you may have been waiting for some time for your review and we will endeavour to do our best to contact you over the next few months. Your patience and understanding with this is greatly appreciated.

Please access the Weight Management website for tools and resources to support you. Your appointments will be conducted via the telephone (please do not come to the Cumberland Centre) and appointment details will be sent via text message in the usual way with a date and time. We kindly ask that you refrain from phoning regarding when your appointment might be as unfortunately we do not have the capacity to deal with high volumes of calls at this current time. If you have any other Weight Management queries which can’t be answered by the website please email [email protected]  – please be aware that we may take up to 72 hours to respond.
