How to book a visit

If you would like to book a visit to the unit then please call or email our reception team and book in a suitable date and time.

Visits by children are allowed by appointment only and with agreement of the unit manager.

Meal times

Visitors are encouraged to avoid visiting during mealtimes, unless you are accompanying the patient on leave off the ward to eat out.

Mealtimes are held everyday at:

Breakfast: 07:00-09:30
Lunch:12:15-12:45
Dinner: 17:00-17:30
Supper: 21:00 – 21:30

Takeaway night is held every other Friday.

Arriving at the Unit

When you arrive at the unit, you will need to follow the signs for reception and press the buzzer. A member of staff will buzz you through the door and into the reception where staff will be able to assist you.

On admission carers and relatives will receive a carer’s information welcome pack from the ward which will detail information around visiting access.


