We are shocked and saddened by last night’s events in the Keyham area of Plymouth and extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of all those affected.
We would like to thank all our staff who responded last night and today, including all of those who volunteered to work additional shifts to care for those affected and to support the local community in Keyham.
Any staff members who have been affected by these events are being offered additional support through our employee wellbeing programmes.
We are supporting Devon and Cornwall Police’s investigation and it would be inappropriate to comment further on the circumstances surrounding this tragedy.
