Our School Nursing team supports young people aged 11–19 and their families with a wide range of health and wellbeing needs. We work alongside schools, parents, and carers to promote healthy development, provide advice, and address concerns such as puberty and growing up, emotional and mental health, online safety, relationships, and healthy lifestyles. School Nurses offer confidential support for young people and can also guide parents and carers, as well as signpost to other services when additional help is needed.
Drop-In Sessions
We offer confidential 11–19 drop-in sessions with School Nurses in a small number of local schools. These sessions provide a safe space for young people to talk about their health, emotional wellbeing, or any worries they may have. School Nurses can offer advice, reassurance, and practical support, as well as signposting to other services when needed. Availability is currently limited to selected schools, so please check with your school to see if this service is offered.
