School Nursing – advice for a young person

Our School Nursing team is here to support you if you’re aged 11–19 and have questions or worries about your health or wellbeing. You can get confidential advice about things like your body and puberty, mental and emotional health, friendships and relationships, online safety, and healthy lifestyles. School Nurses offer a safe, non-judgemental space to talk, and can also help connect you to other services if you need extra support.

Safeguarding

Livewell Southwest is part of the Plymouth Safeguarding Children Partnership, and we work closely with other services to make sure all children, young people, and their families are kept safe and supported. If you are worried about the wellbeing of a child or think they may be at risk of harm, please visit the PSCP website for advice and support. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, call 999 straight away.

Sleep

Online Safety

Children and young people may face risks such as cyberbullying, scams, or seeing harmful content. Learning how to use the internet safely helps keep them protected. Click below for tips, advice, and support.
