P.A.S.S. Advice and Signposting Service
Acceptance criteria:
- Over 18
- Have a formal diagnosis of Autism
- Are not eligible for support through the Learning Disability Service
- Have a Plymouth GP
Referrals can be made by individuals themselves, or on their behalf with their consent, using our referral form.
What support do we offer?
- Resources to support individuals, e.g. information on sensory processing, financial guidance, reasonable adjustments, housing, and mental health.
- Face-to-face appointments to discuss challenges in more detail and consider suitable signposting services.
- Run small groups for people who are autistic.
What does P.A.S.S. Advice Service not do?
We are not able to do/ provide the following:
- Work with those without a formal diagnosis of autism
- Care-coordinate or hold a caseload
- Work with people under the age of 18
- Work with those with a learning disability, including conducting eligibility assessments
- Long term therapy and interventions
- Not a crisis service
- Conduct parenting assessments
- Provide private assessments or interventions
- Or provide expert witness assessments for court
P.A.S.S. is not a crisis service. Individuals needing crisis help should contact First Response by calling 111 and selecting the mental health option.
