About our courses

Our courses are based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, they support people to understand their difficulties and recognise the relationship between thoughts, behaviours and physical symptoms and teach them tools and techniques to overcome these difficulties.

Our courses are facilitated by two members of our staff, including a psychological wellbeing practitioner.


Benefit of courses:

  • We run our courses regularly, meaning there can be reduced waiting time for support
  • Course sessions are longer than one-to-one sessions, meaning more clinical time, resources and information is provided.
  • Being with other people experiencing similar difficulties can make us feel less isolated and can help us learn from each other.
  • There is no pressure to talk in these sessions. These sessions are psychoeducational and listening and learning from our staff and other attendees is really powerful.
  • We have courses at different times of day, face to face and virtually to meet your needs.
  • They are interactive, you can ask questions and share ideas.
  • You will be provided with information each week to embed the learning.
